702 ABC Sydney radio show “Mornings with Linda Mottram” was broadcasting live from Hornsby Mall. Covering many local issues such as the redevelopment of the west side of Hornsby and urbanisation of “The Bushland Shire”, Linda and her crew managed to cover a wide range of topics of interest to many people in the shire and from further away.
Placing themselves right in the middle of the Hornsby Organic Markets, they made a welcome addition to the area on a beautiful spring morning.
Hornsby’s newly elected deputy mayor, Gurdeep Singh was on hand to discuss local issues and to introduce himself to the small crowd that had assembled. Highlighting some of the shire’s features he also noted that there are plans afoot to consider redevelopment of the western side of Hornsby and build a 25 story block of units.
