Ravenswood is a Kindergarten to Year 12 school which aims to equip and inspire girls to participate in and contribute to our evolving global society. This is achieved by a dedication to excellence through the provision of a balanced education encompassing academic, spiritual, creative and physical areas of learning while valuing each girl’s individual potential.
The core curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Physical Education and Health, and Religious Education. All students from Kindergarten to Year 9 study at least one Language other than English as part of their core curriculum and may opt to pursue their language studies in the senior years.
In addition to core studies, girls experience Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Design and Technology. The use of digital technologies to facilitate and enhance learning is integrated across the curriculum. Moreover, a rich array of co-curricular opportunities is available to students in the areas of Sport, Dance, Creative Arts, Language Conversation classes, Speech and Drama, Debating, Instrumental tuition.
The specialised Learning Enrichment Department at Ravenswood supports girls across the school including those who are gifted or talented and those who have learning support needs.
