FIIG Bobbin Head Cycle Classic

Now in its third year, this exciting event is managed by the Rotary Clubs of Ku-ring-gai, St Ives and Turramurra. The route takes in some of the most beautiful scenery on Sydney’s north shore including leafy residential streets, a prestine national park, rolling hills and open countryside. Take your pick from four distances.

“The Bobbo” is a charity fun ride comprising four distance options – ranging from a challenging 104km to a flat and friendly 12km. The 2013 event attracted more than 1,700 riders and raised over $80,000 for charities including Lifeline.

The 2014 Classic is being held on Sunday 23 March starting from 7:00am. All rides start and finish at Karuah Oval Turramurra. The rides are very well supported with more than 250 volunteer marshals together with SES and Police

It is an ideal event for company cycle teams, cycling clubs and social riding groups. It offers great rides, healthy outdoor activity, an opportunity to build team spirit whilst raising valuable funds to support the fantastic work Lifeline do including providing 24hr personal crisis support and suicide prevention services.
