Well, we thought Willoughby would draw against Berowra, but in fact they won 1:0. No surprise given their track record this season. Three more rounds and Willoughby will have the season in the bag.

Next week Willoughby is hosting Lindfield. Although this will be a good, solid clash, we’re predicting a win to Willoughby on their home ground.

North Sydney United

We thought North Sydney would beat Mt Colah and they did 5:2. Next week North Sydney is at home to Kissing Point and, given their form all season, we’re predicting a win for North Sydney. However, this is a critical match for both sides. North Sydney need to win or draw to retain second spot. If North Sydney lose to Kissing Point, Kissing Point moves in to second spot on the ladder.

Lindfield

We predicted a win against Lane Cove but we were wrong, Lane Cove beat Lindfield 1:0. This is the upset of the round, with such a tight group of teams competing for the top spots, Lindfield slip from third to fifth. Their continued mixed level of form will hurt Lindfield if they cannot get their season back on track quickly. Next week Lindfield travel to Willoughby where we’re predicting a hard match with the honours going to Willoughby.

Kissing Point

We predicted a draw against West Pymble but Kissing Point won 2:0. Kissing Point move from fourth to third on the table, as Lindfield slip below Chatswood which sets Kissing Point up well for the rest of the season. Next week Kissing Point is away to North Sydney and given North Sydney’s track record, we’re predicting North Sydney will take the honours. If North Sydney lose next week and Kissing Point win, Kissing Point can move in to second spot.

Chatswood Rangers

We predicted a win over Knox and we were correct 2:1. Chatswood move up one position from fifth to fourth with Lindfield slipping down to fifth position.

Next week Chatswood are away to West Pymble. Given Chatswood’s strength, we’re predicting a win for Rangers.

Berowra

We thought Berowra would hold Willoughby to a draw, but in fact they lost 1:0. Next week Berowra host Mt Colah and we’re predicting a draw in this mid-table clash. This is a critical match for both sides, if Berowra win they retain their position on the ladder, if they lose to Mt Colah, they switch positions on the ladder.

We predicted that Mt Colah would go down to North Sydney and they did 5:2. Next week Mt Colah is away to Berowra and we’re predicting a draw in this mid-table clash. If they beat Berowra next week, they switch spots on the ladder, so a must-win game.

We predicted a draw against Kissing Point, but they lost 2:0. Next week, West Pymble is hosting Chatswood, and given the recent strength of Rangers, we’re predicting that West Pymble will find it tough.

Lane Cove

Well, we predicted a loss against Lindfield, whereas Lane Cove won 1:0. This means Lane Cove move to to equal with West Pymble and Mount Colah, lagging just on goal difference. Next week Knox is home to Lane Cove. We’re predicting honours to be shared between these sides, But Lane Cove have a very real chance of jumping above West Pymble and Mount Colah if our predictions for their results come true and Lane Cove gets another win.

We predicted Knox would lose to Chatswood and so they did 2:1. Next week Knox is home to Lane Cove. We’re predicting honours to be shared between these sides.

There’s some great matches next week with North Sydney hosting Kissing Point as the pace heats up for the second spot on the table and Willoughby hosting Lindfield is a must-win game for Lindfield. Knox vs Lane Cove could be well worth a watch as the new boys in the league (Knox) battle to keep their season alive.
