Free barbecue trailer for community events

A great fundraising initiative

Do you have a charity, community group or not-for-profit organisation that would benefit from a fundraising event?

Hornsby Shire Council has a brand new resource – a specially created community trailer complete with audio-visual system and in-built barbecue.

The trailer is available free of charge to the local community. All you need is a vehicle that can tow 1400 kilograms and a $200 security deposit that is fully refundable.

Looking for a venue?

Council would be happy to reserve you a spot in Hornsby Mall, allowing you to take advantage of this vibrant public space that is filled with local shoppers.

Looking for further assistance?

Two local businesses that have generously offered to help, Laing + Simmons Hornsby and Tender Value Meats.

Laing + Simmons Hornsby are offering each event 20 loaves of bread, one litre of tomato sauce and 200 napkins. They’re also happy to let community groups use their marquee for the event and may even be able to lend you staff to help out.

Tender Value Meats will provide sausages and sliced onion at a reduced rate, as well as a free meat tray worth $50 with every order of more than 200 sausages or $30 with every order of less than 200 sausages.
