Ku-ring-gai celebrates Seniors’ Festival

Huge range of sociable and educational events for seniors throughout March

Live life to the fullest during Ku-ring-gai Council’s annual Seniors’ Festival, with over 30 fun and sociable events catering for seniors of all interests. The festival program will be made up of a mix of both Council and community events in the Ku-ring-gai area.

Running from March 2-27, Ku-ring-gai’s Seniors’ Festival aims to encourage seniors to find new interests, meet new people and learn about the wide range of local services and resources available in the community. The festival coincides with NSW Seniors’ Week, March 14 – 22; a state wide campaign that celebrates life, achievements, relationships and new challenges.

“We have extended NSW Seniors Week to the full month of March, encouraging seniors to celebrate their golden years and live life to the fullest!” said Ku-ring-gai Mayor Jennifer Anderson.

“Many of the activities on offer are either free or low-cost and we invite you and your friends to book early to be sure that you don’t miss out”.
