Old Man’s Valley Bike Festival 2015

A great success, even with the rain

Despite of weather making the track damp and muddy, the Old Man’s Valley Bike Festival went off without a hitch last weekend. Actually, looking at how much everyone enjoyed themselves, maybe it was because of the bad the weather that everyone had so much fun!

With race results posted here, some people posted competitive times, but most people were there for the fun, the BBQ and to check out the gear from Specialized who turned up with gear to weep over.

Hornsby Shire Council were there in force and even made a video of the day.

“It’s fantastic to see the trail being used in this way. This is exactly why Council invested in this recreation space.” Steve Russell, Hornsby Shire Mayor

The event organisers, The Spokes People have some great images on Colin Levitch’s website.
