Pitt Street Mall will be the home to Myer Santaland from the 13th November until the 24th of December. If you are ready to meet Santa, pick up a golden ticket from the stationmaster and go on a train ride through a tunnel (but only if you are under 122cms) then this location is for you. You can book a 15 minute timeslot with Santa online so you don’t miss out, but costs do apply as he is a widely sought after man.
Also in the city, Darling Harbour will be hosting Santa-Fest for a month, having commenced on the 29th of November. If getting active on paddleboats or in the Santa Variety fun-run, or watching fireworks every Saturday night, or relaxing, watching movies under the stars doesn’t tickle your fancy then you are an un-Australian Grinch and would not enjoy this. If you would like these events then you know where to go.
The Martin Place Christmas tree has always been a spectacle however things have never been taken as far as they have this year. You can text a message to the new interactive tree and watch as your message lights up on its branches. 0427840851 is the number, have fun.
Christmas film screenings including ‘Frozen’, ‘Elf’ and ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ will be held in Chatswood at the Urban Screen on the concourse. Admittance is free and movies run every Thursday and Friday night from the 27th of November until the 19th of December. Chatswood Chase also hosts Santa near K-mart from the 29th of November, some of his reindeer making an appearance on the 13-14 of December.

If you are obsessed with your pet and want a picture with not only Santa but your furry friend too, then HomeHQ in Artarmon is where you should head. Families without pets are of course also accepted.
St.Ives Shopping Centre has also erected its grand Santa set up as of the 22nd of November on the top floor of the centre. Less busy than other locations, this is a good spot for a quick photo with Santa.
The Centre Court at the Macquarie Centre is home to another Christmas Wonderland from Saturday the 15th of November.
The Mosman Bridge Point Shopping Centre is one of the few locations where you can capture a free photo with Santa. This centre also offers free gift-wrapping after gift-shopping so is a good location to get some important ticks on your Christmas agenda.
A ‘Mega Christmas Party’ is being held at Wannabees on the Northern Beaches on Saturday the 13th of December. Tickets are $25 for children and includes a photo with Santa as well as being a part of a Christmas and carol disco, a snow show, a magic show, cookie decorating and plenty more.
So whatever you’re into over the Christmas break, be sure to take your inner child (and even your really children if you can be bothered) to one of these locations to be a part of the festivities.
