We are looking for contributors that can submit well written articles on a regular basis as well as pieces on an ad-hoc/one-off basis. Who knows, this could be your start to an online career?
If you have an idea for an article, let us know. If you hear of something great in the area and think we might want to highlight it, drop us a line!
We particularly want to hear from people that want to highlight the things in the area that are unique, special or interesting.
Other than the unique and interesting, we want to hear about art and leisure activities that will interest our readers and we want to cover more sports. Match reports are great, but they must be balanced giving credit to both sides, where it is due.
It’s worth noting, we really love articles that come with their own images! If you are submitting images, you must be the owner of those images or you must have been given permission by the owner to use them in an article in online media (on our site). Images must be at least 1000 pixels x 600 pixels and should be cropped, colour corrected and sharpened. We use images that are 940 x 400 pixels for the hero shot (the horizontal image at the top of the article) and 800 pixels x 600 pixels within the copy.
